Information from Dr. M. Y. Williams, as supplied
by. F.W. Beaton of Fort St [Saint] John.
In 1889 there were 10-12 buffalo within
a mile of Fort St [Saint] John at one time during
the year.
15 were killed in 1910 or 1912 just north
of Sikanni Post.
In 1923 buffalo bull tracks were
seen at Fort Sikanni
