In morning hunted up creek
taking 4 crossbills + seeing
many others. (evening grosbeak,
chipping sparrows common.

June 21 Anarchist Mt. [Mountain]
This morning traps took 1 Badger,
5 Peromyscus, 2 Microtus mordax.
Those set for Perognathus drew
nothing but Perys [Peromyscus]. The country is
so overrun with them +
groundsquirrels it is hard to
get anything else. Red starts,
Wood peewees, Robins + Williamson
sapsuckers extremely abundant.
