Rained hard all day, spent the
time writing reports

Hiked into Cathedral Lake today. It
was hot + the climb tedious. About
14 miles of steady upgrade. The alpland
area at the lake is most interesting
+ I would like to have stayed longer.
than just overnight.
A little old mouse sign (Phenac. [Phenacomys])
but nothing recent + 14 traps took no
a mouse - Early flowers just out.

the Natural History Society on its way
in to its summer camp.
A doe + twins had been on the trail
ahead of me also a mt [mountain] lion
