- Translated transcription: Eventually the night disappears.
With the approach of day, the journey slows and when Vébjörg awakes she finds herself on the ground near Haraldr’s grave mound. By her side lie weapons and armour.
The appearance of Óðinn in her dream, the strange nocturnal ride and the place to which she has been brought quickly make her understand its purpose and give rise to anticipation in her aroused mind.
It is thus she revisits, after years of fierce warring in foreign lands, the lands of her childhood, where she now, confused and moved by emotion, seeks to reorient herself. Everything seems to her so small and poor compared to the rich lands from which she came.
