In evening [Ian McTaggart] Cowan shot two [male symbol] rabbits above
camp between miles 8 + 9 + Stewart [Racey] collected
a [male symbol] Porcupine, a very large animal weighing
at least 48 or 50 pounds
July 20. 1937. 3400 ft. [feet], Mrs [Kenneth] Racey [Kathleen Eileen Louise Stewart] +
Stewart [Racey] left at 5.30 a.m. for Vancouver.
Three Perris [Peromyscus] in traps 2/juv [juveniles]/[male symbol] + an old ad [adult] [male symbol]
measurements of which ad. [adult] are 183.90.21.
Worked all day at making up citellus
+ Porcupine. This last skinned for
mounting + skeletonized. Before skinning
measurements were 870.283.16. - after skinning.
