area. Approximately 2 acres of rolling
bench land on a hillside
with a few pines + firs.
In shallow depressions that
will hold the snow water
in the spring, (briar 2-A-5) and
plants no's [numbers] 2-A-1, 2-A-2, 2-A-3, 2-A-4
grow making conspicuous areas
of a quite yellowish general
tone. The plants 2-A-1, 2-A-2,
2-A-4 seldom grow more than
a foot or so in height, but
2A5, + 2-A-3 grow 2 ft [feet] +
2A3 sometimes 2 1/2 or 3' in
height.
In the rest of the area
the 2 species of sage grow
sparingly, with the broader
leaved form predominating
