Wigmore Hundred Court rolls
"These scrolls preserve the proceedings of twelve meetings of the manorial court at Wigmore held in 1453-4. Directly controlled by the crown since 1424, Wigmore manor was home to a weekly market, an Augustinian abbey, some hundred farms and several breweries." -- Description provided by bookseller.

- Script: English Gothic documentary cursive hand in brown ink; text on both sides of sheets.
- The two sheets are attached together at the top with a twisted vellum thong.

- Item *extremely* difficult to work with. Scanned under glass on the Betterlight TTI (1/15; 287; bent 5; camera height 900). Glare on one image removed digitally (original = 001, edited = 001e). Due to curl, separate photos taken of top line of text on each page that curls over. Scanned front and back of both pages. Digitizing by PD. Metadata by KD.
