Wigmore Hundred Court rolls

"These scrolls preserve the proceedings of twelve meetings of the manorial court at Wigmore held in 1453-4. Directly controlled by the crown since 1424, Wigmore manor was home to a weekly market, an Augustinian abbey, some hundred farms and several breweries." -- Description provided by bookseller.
