- Jan18 Saturday. To Posada: hung up Thos Wyatt [print] rearranged f replaced furniture gave instructions to masons. (Juan Ferrer & Jaime, Margarita Modista's stepson) Rosa came & was paid a/c of 268 p[ts]. Three drafts of Climate of Thought . Clipped away dead wood of blackberries (very hot sun) & got badly scratched. To village: heard on radio death of Kipling & illness of King. Laura in her new red house-dress with old brass buttons & white red-fringed shawl.
