- Nov 27 Saturday 21 pages Belisarius Chapter XXI To Mills to fetch topaz ring,(rebacked & much more golden in colour.) & bought marbles in East St. A silly, patronizing letter from C.S. Evans about Laura's poems. which she says she will frame. Adler should Gordon, Honor & Julian came, & Julian behaved very well friendlily & played with Solace. My new sofa-cover came, & I now have a bed of proper length, breadth & comfort to sleep on. A walk with Laura to St John's Wood village to do a little shopping (bought 3 Worcester plates for 1/6). Work practically all day. Laura's cross found the under the desk. At night wrote 3 pages of the L.R. book.
