- Saint Robert's Day Wednesday, May 13. Finished reading Epilogue . Half way with Convalescent Conversations . Went over Epilogue with Laura [;] Karl transcopying in next room. Just got it off in time. Gelat came & told us of his mayoral initiation: the new minister of War, vice Masqualet, is Quiroga, the Prime Minister, a friend of Ques. Letter from Cooke about Ant stamp-collections, with four suggestions: otherwise finds it O.K. Made the necessary adjustments in the chapter.
