- Ap 14. Day of the Republic Tuesday Long letter to A.G. Put things away in attic – books. Antigua , various parts of it. Sunless day. Wind. Took Henry Wiatt to be framed in morey . Laura not well, went to bed. I fell asleep on my sofa in the afternoon. Smith came again to ask about design of the bannisters – now nearly done.
