Living sea 16 (1957-08-15) : bird island
A series of documentary kinescopes with filmed inserts dealing with the sea and sea life. Hosted by Ian McTaggart-Cowan. Dr. Cowan introduced the birds living on the sea and explained their ways of making a livings from the sea. Basically there are two groups of birds: long wing flying birds and heavy body short wing birds, such as skimmer, puffin and penguin. He also explored a gulf island and showed the birds living there, including cormorant and pigeon guillemot.
