- Ap 21 Thursday. Death of Solace: who had been recovering: heart weakness. Went to Canada House to see Mike Pearson about Karl's going to Canada. He was disgusted with general situation. Got typescript of W & O back from Watt. Long talk with Laura about procedure. At 12 o clock walked to open-all-night Lyons at Marble Arch (Cypriot waiters, & prostitutes) & back at 2.10.
