• Aug 29 Monday. A depressing account from Karl of Norman's new poky pokey modern flat with no room in the kitchen even for a chair for Margaret, & how Catherine has deliberately quarrelled with Len & Jane & his other friends. Proofs of World & Ourselves all day. David Reeves went off at 4.20 – expecting to return on October 1 or so.
