Part of a collection of interviews about the development of BC Parks from members of the Elders Council for Parks in British Columbia. The Elders Council for Parks in British Columbia is an independent society, whose members are retired parks system employees and conservation advocates who have dedicated a significant portion of their lives to parks and protected areas in B.C. The interview concerns the following topics: SIDE A Fire fighting; the dam; red snow on three brothers mountain; naming Windy Joe; the elk story; Youth Crew. SLIDE B Putting in the Frosty trail; how long interviewee worked in Manning; ski area; water works; the jack of all trades status. NOTE: This recording also includes descriptions of animal cruelty.
