- Jan 14. Tuesday. Began homily on Stealing . Long letter from L.H. enclosing one from Cape which might have meant two things according to how much of the T.E. material he had seen: wrote a long letter to suit either two possible readings. Alfalfas planted. McCormacks go into Salerosa tomorrow. Emmerich also came to tea. Went (with McCormack) to supervise 'pointing' of Posada wall. To Sala: Gelat better. Stealing all evening: worked till 1 o'clock Almond blossom at its best. Oliphants came. Emmerich very piano about Germany Miguel brought duck board for the picas .
