- Dec 28th Saturday. Copied changes to other T.E. copy and sent off 35 pages to Liddell Hart who wrote satisfactorily on all points. Letter from Honor, just going into her new house. To Palma : Margarita week-ending with her people, Catalina bought us glass fruit stands. Focus all but done: Laura said the [printing of] Natural Need was a porqueria . Got my leather jacket back. Laura bought 2 dress lengths at 90 p[ts.] each. Sent Hodge his poem & criticism. Supper at Lena's with Gelat Strenge Schwarz Karl Laura and then Cecil B. [de] Mille's Crusades: Schw. said he might have brought in Joan of Arc. Then Macarena and home. Gelat had a long talk with Vidal of the Estado Mayor & Turismo who offers his protection in the road & medico business.
