- Dec 29 Wednesday Chapter XVII Belisarius 3 pages mss too. James came, also Margaret & Leonard Russell. To St John's Police Station to discuss John Lucy letters with Superintendent Moody. New shirts came. Talked most of day with James – no work except a few minutes at a time – in evening (after supper at McWhirters with him & Mary (Reeves) & Laura) went over points his in his poem about a ship at anchor etc.
