- Jan 22 Wednesday Great mildness continues. Palma Very tiring day in Palma (went in with McCormacks, just L & I). Bought green silk (modern) for a dress of Laura's, & iron knobs for a balustrade at the Fundicion Mallorquin. Lunch with Honor's mother at Grand Hotel. Bought canaries, one for us, one for Fábrica at 12 p[ts]. each. Returned at 5. Laura began her tonic. John's moonface picture framed & put in Mesquida.
