  • Dec 6 Friday To Liddell Hart suggesting: T.E.Lawrence to His Biographers or Aircraftman Shaw to His Biographers. Arnie L. wrote about ground covered by letters: asked him to be gentle with blue pencil. He could use all in Letters whose sale unaffected by Biographer book. Watt thought terms inadequate: I wrote to Liddell Hart not to try another publisher but rather for royalty to be raised at such a figure Michael Roberts proofs (left out 1/2 a poem). Walk to sea with James brought back dog-leg stick etc. Paths being laid, olive trees removed & replanted. Laura going over James' novel & wrote letters to McCormacks, Honor & returned A.A. Simpson 's poems.
