• Wed Dec 16th + 14 = 30 Reading Troy proofs: and going over them with Laura. In afternoon to Jenny: happier. L. came too. Korda rang up: 'in 3 or 4 days'. Mrs Lloyd & Biddy to tea. Also Audrey Beecham: first time to see us. Later met her and Neil Hutchison (B.B.C. Relations dept) at Café Royale. Stomach ache, but worked with Laura, after, until 2.30. Today, Eden's reassuring statement about Spanish integrity.
