- Jan 15 Friday. Jabbed by J.F. Laura worked till 5 so slept late. I went to Jenny she was all right, so can now be thought of as out of danger: but rather cross. Catherine came to say goodbye, on way to school. Took her shopping & to a Mickey Mouse. She lost everything but found it again & went off safely. Honor with tales of amorous Arkesden – Mary B, the Clarkes, George – Maisie to supper with tales of B.B.C. (Hilda Matheson saga). Sent off birthday telegram to Tom. Laura started cleaning flat today, preparatory to going. Checking Epilogue until late.
