Transcript
  • Enclosure – Time & Tide Review of Antigua, Penny, Puce November 14, 1936; RG's signed letter of response Dear Helen Fletcher, It occurs to me to ask you what you have got. I mean,: besides an admiration for the New Yorker , broad-minded tolerance of Lesbians and the laughter of Little Audrey, realism, and a bold revival of the Victorian 'this is a work of art.' Obviously you have something that you think a lot of greatly prize, or you wouldn't write review so recklessly always. Is it something you have written or are writing, or merely something physical – a musk-gland or whatnot? If the former, I should like to see it. Sincerely yours, Robert Graves
