- March 4 Wednesday . Cabled Leicester Gallery to sell Deyá Valley instead of keeping for us; & to Watt 'awaiting cable' about T.E. stuff not yet acknowledged. G [.] goes to Madrid, after a row with the Mayor, the medico's sisters & a plain declaration to the maestro & Secretario that he is going to get rid of Medico & turn out the Parish council. Watt replied not yet received: but Castor says has gone by sea: takes weeks. Laura tired & went to bed (gave G. 1000p[ts.]). Went over Schw. Aphorisms with Laura. Note on Translations .
