- Ap 27 Thursday Packing. Laura, David & I went to see Dogman & Dog-Girl ('Hector & his Pals') in the kennels. Saw a coasting vessel, & dozens of black-tipped gulls. Speed slowed down to allow us to reach New York comfortably. T.S.F. reports Hitler's threat to mobilize if conscription voted. Caused excitement: but a lie. Saw a lot of the Spaniards.
