- Nov 24. Friday Wednesday A day entirely filled with people. Margaret Russell all day (she's going to rent a house & take in Croydon police as lodgers), David Reeves, Sally, Alan, Winifred Holmes, Norman. Marie & Karl had the afternoon off, so lots of work. A walk with Margaret. Felt tired out. Went over the last four days' work in Belisarius at night. Laura bought the Adler picture: we have been helping him with introductions. Lost the cross off the mother of pearl necklace. Frank Richards was married 3 days ago to one Mary James and sent wedding cake.
