  • Saturday Oct 24 Tidying up letters etc. Harold, Olive & Sally to tea. In evening to Arkesden to Honor's by train with Tom, Julie, L. (Carl to Chichester). Very nice cottage. Stayed at the Axe with Gordon. We played mechanical bagatelle (to get 6400 for cigarettes) with silver & golden balls. Discussed Bulton scenario. Another small boil which burst during the night. Slept well.
