- Saturday Ap 27 Another morning spent rearranging Canellun & Can Torrent, hanging up plates and pictures and mirrors. Rosa came with my new grey-black waistcoat. Reversed covering of my mass-stool. Catalina & Magdalena finishing Can Torrent cleaning and whitewashing. Karl took Salamo for his walk: I was too tired. Rearranging continued all evening. Letter from Richmond, willing to help if Korda needs him. Unpacked the china service bought for Can Torrent. Tidied cellar, where new table. Gelat had heard about Cura. Cura will give up keys on May 31, and receive 150 pesetas. He does not yet know that by the Vicar General's orders it is for the Church not his own pocket.
