  • Sept 3 Tuesday. Almost Forgotten Times [Chapter] XXI rather a struggle, heavy day. Gelat came with figs. Sea: the Murcians collecting stones - about 4000: but permission needed from Coastguard Sergeant. Letter to Sam & Catherine in answer to one from them. L. sent £1 each. After supper Joän Junyer came to coffee, & Walt Ward & Dorothy Hutchinson. Quite nice. Laura carried on a writing conversation with Joän Junyer Mailing list for Constable started.
