Mule deer : mesentry
Glass slide of the mesentry of a mule deer showing pigment deposition along with chronic F magna infection. Mesentry is a continuous folded band of membranous tissue (peritoneum) that is attached to the wall of the abdomen and encloses the viscera/intestines.
