- Tuesday Oct 27th More letters: now all done To L.H. Sent Antigua corrections to O.K. To Allen Krob, Laura's tailor with Laura after lunch at Chata (novelist & South American conversation about getting under skins). Alone to Allen for fitting. Then to Bromet in Burlington Arcade got nacre & malachite 1700 brooch 35/- & Harvey & Gore baroque pearl & gold Italian pendant (ex-earring) £3.10. Laura with Robin over poems. Ate apple – felt poisoned. Saw flat in Dorset St with Karl. Very sick. Supper with Robin at Pradas (L. R & K.)
