  • Dec 11th Wednesday. Sleet, snow, thunder & lightning. T.E. all day except for letter to Harrison Smith sending introduction, Amy Graves for birthday, Mrs Ashby, Liddell Hart about Watt etc again; and going over second part of Focus proofs. Lock broke in kitchen, had to kick the jam gamb out. In evening punch at Ca'n Torrent with Schwarz, Laura , Karl , James & myself. Guitar and gramophone. Subdued. Laura & I discussed part-time activity of James . Red skirt over light, & Xmas decorations with garlic strings.
