An interview/narrative of Admiral Nigel Brodeur's experiences as a weapons officer aboard the HMCS Kootenay in the early 1960s. Interview took place on November 15, 2005.

ABSTRACT: Admiral Nigel Brodeur Interview with Admiral Brodeur covers his time as a Weapons Officer aboard the HMCS Kootenay, in the early 1960's. Admiral Brodeur covers the anti-submarine warfare training that he received in England, and the events of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Admiral Brodeur talks about early US-Canada relations and the importance of Canada's role in NORAD.
