Transcript

• Aug 22 Saturday Hair-cut, with Laura bought cut steel & horn necklace 4/6 in Marylebone shop & two silver brooches 2/6 & 2/3. Lunch at Chata's where Karl helped someone to translate a German misprint. (Laura's lost red-coral & pearl earring.) Made several small technical changes in Ant. on recommendation of Stanley Gibbons' manager. Earring found among Maisie's stockings.
