- Friday Oct 9th Letters from L.H. to Laura & me about our notes on his Outline quibbling and nasty. We both wrote severely, I proposing a separation of our works. Grateful phone-call from Kyllmann. To Antique Dealers Exch. Exhibition Laura bargained & got £2 off the £14 price for a 1680 gatelegged table. Letter from Pinker: investigating by phone found that Paramount were interested in Antigua . Also enquiry from 20th Century Fox . Went over Praise after Laura's rewriting: few checks. Wrote to Kyllmann specifications of Antigua advertising. To Maisie's for coffee: present Maisie, Ruth Field, Hankin, Senor señor & Señora Castelejos, Bill Orford, Miss Philips, L & I.
