In all the Red backs taken -
24 in number, half females
there have been but 2 giving
information
as to breeding
cycle. One had 5 embryos
12 mm [millimetres] long. Another had
6 just started. None were
lactating.
This mouse seems to be
abundant along the margins
of the rock slides, as well
as in the clumps of balsam.
One individual had been
eating usnea another a fine
green moss.
