The image is of the central figure in the opera "In Praise of Red Plum Blossom" about the wartime resistance heroine Jiang Zhuyun, better known as Sister Jiang (Jiang jie). The opera, one of a number about Sister Jiang, was suppressed in the Cultural Revolution, and revived in 1977. Price: 11 fen
