One of a series of amateur motion picture films by Mathew Ko. The events depicted are of a Youth Group trip in 1940 from Victoria, B.C. to Vancouver, B.C. Docked ship [possibly Charlotte?], view of dockyard, signage reads “Island Tug.” View of Empress Hotel and legislature building from CPR Steamship Terminal Building. Technical note

• Double-perf color reversal. B-wind. Mixed Ansco and Kodachrome stocks. 1941, 43, 46 and 47 Kodak date codes. Ansco sections have very faded color. Somewhat shrunken. Perforation damage and occasional tears throughout. Some sections held together with masking tape had to be respliced. Digitized at 18 FPS. Digitized by The Media Preserve
