Interviewee: Dangerfield, Jack

ABSTRACT: Jack Dangerfield talks about his multiple deployments to West Germany during the Cold War. He begins with the story of how he came to join the military, and his first deployment with the Lord Strathcona Horse. He then talks about the training that the Brigade received, and how highly it was regarded. He talks about commanding the Reconnaissance unit. He also talks about the training that the Brigade received both in Germany and back in Canada. He then moves on to describe the equipment the Brigade used, as well as chemical warfare protocols.
