- The north wind blows, snowflakes flutter,/ Frost forms patterns on the window./ After Little Hong gets out of bed in the morning,/ Mother tells her to put on her padded jacket. / Little Hong looks at it and shakes her head:/ ‘That old padded jacket is no good at all,/ There’s a big patch on it, and the colour’s faded,/ Mother dear, make me a new padded jacket soon!
