An interview/narrative of Captain John Mason's experiences whilst serving with the Royal Canadian Navy. Interview took place on March 16, 2012.
ABSTRACT: This was a shorter follow up interview with Captain Mason. He discusses the deep sea diving training he received in the early days of his services. There is a continued discussion about the Unification of the Canadian forces. His time in Sweden is discussed as well as what he observed about communism while in Europe, sometimes in close quarters with his Soviet equivalents on Attaché tours. Mason was also asked about and discusses the importance of Remembrance Day and how he feels Canadians remember. The care he receives from Veterans Affairs and his opinions on American and Canadian political leaders.
