• Feb 9 Wednesday Sent off maps & Chapter XX & XXI. Proofs all day. Sent off another batch making ½ of the book. Margaret to lunch. In afternoon went with her & Laura to Selfridge. Laura got a pig-skin handbag-purse 56/- & I a pigskin cigarette case 10/-. Started on Chapter XXII.
