Letter from Clere Parsons to Herbert Read, August 15, [1927-1928?]
One of a pair of letters to Sir Herbert Read from the poet Clere Parsons. In this letter, Parsons responds to Read's commission to write a piece, and discusses Read's comments of Parsons' work. Parsons also expresses his thoughts about himself compared to other writers of the day, such as Read and Eliot.
