An extract of an oral history interview by Percy Twidale of his experiences during World War I. Born in 1892, Mr. Twidale served with the 113th Canadian Infantry Battalion, C.E.F. and the 16th Canadian Infantry Battalion, C.E.F. (Canadian Scottish). Interview took place in June and August 1983. Elizabeth Hazlitte was a nurse at Victoria's Veterans Hospital and volunteered to interview six Great War veterans.
