Postcard from William Plomer to John Betjeman, April 03, 1950
Part of a collection of letters to John Betjeman from William Plomer (British poet, novelist and literary editor). Plomer informs Betjeman that he has decided not to travel to Cincinnati, despite Betjeman's efforts. Front of postcard shows picture of "The Mill School" with a quote underneath: "Yes there is holy pleasure in thine eyes, The lovely cottage in the golden nook".
