Victor Reinstein Collection

Personal collection of Rabbi Victor Hillel Reinstein, Rabbi of the Congregation Emanu-El Synagogue in Victoria, B.C. from 1982-1998. Reinstein was a leading figure in Holocaust memorialization in Victoria and led the creation of both the Kristallnacht memorial ceremonies, held in November, and Yom Hashoah ceremonies, held in the spring.

This collection contains his personal hand-written notes, personal correspondence, and published material that Reinstein annotated for use in drafting material for the memorial ceremonies held in Victoria, B.C.
