These maps, from the National Archives of the UK, primarily span the dates 1846-1876 and show the development of the territory from the two founding colonies until after the Province joined confederation. A few earlier maps were collected by the Colonial Office in response to the San Juan dispute and these are also included.

St. Martins Lane [London 1873]. This copy shows Berlin printer only "Lith. Inst v Th. Mettke, Berlin, Wilhelmstr. 122." Reprint of map probably extracted from "Atlas maritimo español. Cadiz, 1795. 'Carta esferica de los reconocimientos hechos en 1792 en la costa n.o. de America para examinar la entrada de Juan de Fuca, y la internacion de sus canales navagables : levantada de orden del rey nuestra señor abordo de las goletas Sutil y Mexicana, por D. Dionisio Galiano y D. Cayetano Valdes capitanes de Navio de la Rl. Armada año de 1795.'" Probably based on the work of José Cardero, the official cartographer and artist of the voyage.
