- The south eastern districts of Vancouver Island including the Sooke, Metchosin, Esquimalt, Victoria, Highland, Lake, South Saanich and North Saanich. There are numbered plots of land covering the majority of the districts along with relief marks showing the hills and mountains. There is also an inset map titled "Town and Harbour of Victoria, V.I." showing the numbered plots of land around Victoria Harbour and James Bay including the street names, parks, reserves, and properties of Gov. Douglas and R. Finlayson. Both maps include detailed names for their features such as the lakes, bays, inlets, mountains, hills, points, and harbours.
