- Description:
- The plan for the city of Victoria with different coloured lots and explanations for what those colours mean. Lots coloured in green are those that will be surrendered to the Crown and include Beacon Hill Park, government buildings, church reserve, school reserve, and several numbered plots. The pink lots have "HBC" written in them and belong to the Hudson's Bay Company. The lands coloured in yellow belong to Governor Douglas and will also be surrendered to the Crown. Named features include Finlayson Point, Holland Point, Ogden Point, Victoria Harbour, Shoal Point, Laurel Point, James Bay, and Rock Bay.

- A sketch traced by Launders showing a proposed road starting at Yale, following along the Fraser River and ending at Hodge's Store. There are notes along the road about the land cover (e.g. earthy soil, loose boulders, etc.), about markers used along the route, and about which of the many streams will need culverts or bridges for the road to get across. There is a list of references including the total distance of the road and more information about the land cover.

- Description:
- Three maps drawn by Sinnett and Lithographed by Oldham of government reserves numbered 1-3 along with a small inset map showing the locations of the reserves on the coasts of islands where the Fraser River meets the Gulf of Georgia. Map No. 1 shows a reserve on the north side of Sea Island on the North Arm of the Fraser River. Map No. 2 is a reserve across Sea Island from No. 1 on the south side. Map No. 3 is a reserve on Lulu Island across from No. 2. Map No. 3 also contains the inset map showing the locations of the three reserves. All the reserves contain "Indian" Villages and No. 2 and 3 also contain sloughs.

- Two maps drawn by Sinnett and Lithographed by Oldham of government reserves numbered 4 and 5. No. 4 is titled "Reserve on the Anderson and Fraser Rivers" and shows a reserve on the banks of where the Anderson River meets the Fraser River. It contains an "Indian" village called Quayome, a bridge, McConnel's Claim, and a burial ground. No. 5 is titled "9 Mile Creek 9 Miles Above Boston Bar on left bank of Fraser River" and shows two reserves on the Fraser River by 9 Mile Creek both of which contain villages and are near miner's houses.
