The Anarchist Archive Collection contains select digitized material from the Anarchist Archive.
The Anarchist Archive is devoted to the study of anarchism, with a special focus on the history of the movement in Canada.
History and mandate:
Founded in 2005 by Director Allan Antliff, the Anarchist Archive has a special mandate to collect and preserve anarchist-related materials, including posters, photographs, art work, videos, audio recordings, journals, pamphlets and zines, books, oral histories, correspondence (written and digital), organizational records, and other items.
Holdings include the papers of:

These letters, spanning 1921 and 1922, primarily discuss Read’s work as a Readers and Writers columnist for the magazine in that time. In these letters Orage also frequently mentions P. D. Ouspensky, who studied under philosopher G. I. Gurdjieff. In 1922 Orage sold “The New Age” and moved to Paris in order to also study under Gurdjieff. In this letter Orage arranges a meeting with Read and Flint to discuss the T. E. Hulme manuscript.

These letters, spanning 1921 and 1922, primarily discuss Read’s work as a Readers and Writers columnist for the magazine in that time. In these letters Orage also frequently mentions P. D. Ouspensky, who studied under philosopher G. I. Gurdjieff. In 1922 Orage sold “The New Age” and moved to Paris in order to also study under Gurdjieff. At the opening of this letter Orage apologies for not sending the Hulme manuscript, but writes that the meeting with "F.S." went very well. In this letter Orage also invites Read to write "R. & W." for six months.
